Active Passion Funds

A Nonprofit Agency Fund is a fund established by a nonprofit organization to grow and manage its charitable assets with the support of the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties. These funds can be endowed, providing long-term, sustainable income, or non-endowed, offering flexible access to both principal and earnings.

Temple Beth El in Ormond Beach, founded in 1950, has long served as a vibrant center of Jewish life and community connection. The L’dor V’dor Fund, meaning “from generation to generation,” was created to honor and sustain the temple’s rich legacy for generations to come.

Transitioning out of the foster care system can be a challenging time for young people, as they often face various obstacles and limited resources. The goal of Project SELF is to assist them in overcoming these challenges and providing them with the necessary resources for employment and basic needs as they embark on their journey towards independence.

The Ormond Beach Historical Society Endowment Fund provides funding for the sustainability of the organization’s work to preserve and share the rich history of Ormond Beach. The organization was formed in 1976 and has gone on to save and promote some of the most significant historical sites in Ormond Beach including The Casements, Anderson-Price Memorial Building, Nathan Cobb Cottage, Indian Burial Mound, Three Chimneys Sugar Mill Ruins, and many more.

This fund secures Flagler Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide safe, affordable housing for generations to come. When you contribute to the endowment through the Community Foundation, you directly build stronger communities and create lasting change—one home at a time.

A Donor Advised Fund is a flexible charitable giving account that allows donors to make tax-deductible contributions, recommend grants to their favorite nonprofits, and grow their charitable assets over time—all while receiving professional management and support from the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties.

The Workforce Enhancement Fund plays a vital role in ensuring that our workforce remains vibrant, equipped, and ready to contribute to the economic development of Volusia and Flagler counties. By focusing on skill development, the Workforce Enhancement Fund recognizes the importance of equipping individuals with the knowledge and abilities needed to secure stable and fulfilling employment.
