GRANT APPLICATIONS

The Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties awards grants throughout the year from a variety of philanthropic sources. Many of these grants, most notably our Community Impact Grants and Special Grants, are accessible to local nonprofits through an application process.

Community Impact Grants

CF/UWVFC’s most well-known grantmaking initiative, this opportunity is for well-established nonprofits with programs fostering Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security and Community Resiliency in Volusia and Flagler counties. The application for 2026-2028 Community Impact Grants closed March 13, 2026. Funding decisions were made in May 2026. See the 2026-2028 Community Impact Grant Guidelines for details.

Here is a list of the 2025-2026 Community Impact Funded Partners and 2026-2028 Community Impact Grants with the award amounts and program descriptions.

Special Grants

Applications are accepted continuously for CF/UWVFC Special Grant Opportunities. This grant process is open to nonprofits serving residents of Volusia and/or Flagler counties, including newer and smaller organizations. The sources of this funding have diverse purpose statements and eligibility requirements. A single application is used to bring local organizations and programs into consideration for all open, appropriate funding opportunities.

The application for 2025-2026 CF/UWVFC Special Grant Opportunities is now closed. The 2026-2027 CF/UWVFC Special Grant Opportunities application is open in the Grants Portal.
